He earned his bachelor's degree in marketing e-commerce from Old Dominion University. Simeon is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated. Active in his community, he serves as a board member of UTURN, the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, and ChildSavers.
